--Again, my apologies for the lateness of this one, too.--
They'd been practicing flights and flaming over the last two months and now, Annalyra was certain that they were ready to flame while flying. This Lesson was dangerous and so she had a few extra dragons waiting nearby, mainly nimble browns and larger blues in case of catches needed. And Healers, both dragon and human oriented stood nearby, too. Annalyra just wasn't taking any chances. {{Come along, Littles! A harder Lesson today!}} Precisith called pleasantly, calmly.
--If there's any riders of the mentioned colors, sizes, and types, don't hesitate to reply to this, too.--

{oh goody a hard lesson today more things to learn mine}} Reed said pratcially bouncing as sherly came and the pair went to the field.
{{another lesson mine harder today)) was Cameith's commentary. Niraded smiled at her green and the pair quietly made their way also.

Optith, Seerowth, and Claudith were all up at once. }:Time to go!:{ they said in unison.
Their riders smiled and followed their eager dragonets out of the barracks, Trig and Bandit gliding along ahead of them.
Laliy and Kiyoni had been talking about all their lessons when their little greens informed them of lessons.
"Guess it's time to go again," Laliy smiled, standing up with a stretch.
"Right behind you," Kiyoni said.
D'inal and Tygrith stood with Annalyra. They hadn't been at Angel's Cove long, but they figured they might as well make themselves useful.
K'rei and Cerith had decided to join them as well. K'rei had always liked helping with the young ones.

{{Oo! A Hard Lesson, T'raren-Mine. Come! Let's go!}} Eteinth said merrily as he quickly abandoned his play with Search and Dragon to answer Precisith's call. By now, every Lesson seemed to require harnesses and Eteinth was slowly looking better and better as his awkwardness seemed to be changing for the better.
Irohidth grumbled, but got up from watching His with Mischief. {{Lesson time, G'tee-Mine. And Precisith says it'll be harder. Ha! Show me hard!}} the brown grumbled as he complied to the call and waited for His before heading for the Practice Field.
Starkith watched His and Jonnth's "play" and when the call came from Precisith, he bugled in cheer. {{Mine! Lessons! Harder!}} he said rather excitedly and somewhat loudly. L'ney practically fell over in his sparring kick at his bronze's excited mind voice and Sky and River took falling flights as they had been atop the bronze. "L-lesson t-time," the Weyrling told his companion once he'd gained his balance again.
Jonnth had been dozing, His' mind content in his activity with Starkith's, so he needn't be alert to protect His. {{The Big One calls another Lesson.}} the blue said in echo of L'ney's words. K'sid nodded and off they went, putting on their customary clothing for Lessons and riding.
K'lar, M'kan, Tia'ar, and Rayra all played a game of skill in the lapse between chores and Lessons and it was M'kan, concentrating so greatly on his next move that he fell from his stool at his blue's excited call. {{Lessons! Maybe Reedith is there! Let's go! Let's go! Let's go!}} as the blue came bounding up to the group.
Tiny Dawnuth skittered close to Hers at the blue's speedy approach in fear of him bumping into her. {{Visageth is going too fast!}} But the blue had stopped mere inches from the group of Weyrlings, prancing about in excitement, Zyurth trotting up behind him.
{{Lessons!}} was all the bronze said.
Mihelith was much calmer in his approach and reached out to nudge Dawnuth gently. {{Visageth wouldn't hurt you, sister. Let's go to our Lessons.}}
{{Okay. Rayra-Mine, let's go with Mihelith and His to the Lesson.}} the green said a fair bit calmer now.

Reed was on the look out for Visageth once he spotted his brother he bounced excitedly over to him {{ hi visageth ready for today?}} he asked not hiding his excitement.
Cameith warmly greeted the brothers and sisters she was closest to as they arrive especially her brother Claudith {{hello Claudith everyone seems so excited today don't they?}}

Visageth reached out to nuzzle his blue brother in greeting. {{Good day, brother! Yes, I'm, ready!}}
Annalyra counted her charges and smiled then clapped her hands for their attention. "Alright everyone! We've been working on flight and everyone's doing wonderful. And we've been working on flaming and, as I'm glad to say, everyone's doing wonderful as well. Today's Lesson will be a combination of the two. In order to fight Thread, you have to be able to flame while flying, so we'll go one at a time. You'll produce a flame on the ground first, then we'll take to the air and flame there. Any questions?"

}:Hello, lovely Cameith,{ Claudith said as he sat down beside her. Trig balanced on his shoulder.
}:We get to fly and flame!:{ Seerowth said excitedly, causing C'lin to laugh.
}:I will be able to protect you now,:{ Hebertinth said to Laliy. She wasn't as leery this time as she had been when they had first tried flight.
Elliwodth bounced around excitedly, nearly knocking Kiyoni over in the process.
Optith stood quietly beside K'ryn with Bandit beside them. The bronze studied his clutchmates. K'ryn couldn't really think of any questions. "Is that why we have other riders here?" he finally asked, seeing a few of the older riders.

{{good to hear i am ready too}} Reedith said brightly. Sherly smiled at M'kan.
{{hello, Claudith}} Cameith said as he joined her.

}:Are you ready to try flaming and flying?:{ Claudith asked the little green beside. }:I think it will be quite interesting.:{ J'dan smiled at Niradene. "Seems like Claudith and Cameith are talking again."

}:I don't think any will get hurt. The big green will make sure of that,:{ Claudith answered.
J'dan nodded. "Neither do I. I'm glad that Claudith has a friend."

Annalyra nodded to K'ryn. "Yes, K'ryn. The other riders are here in case something is to happen. Flaming while flying is quite dangerous. Sometimes a dragonet is needed to be caught due to a mishap which I hope to Faranth doesn't happen today or in the future." She motioned to the riders present. "These riders have politely given up their time to be here in case they are needed. I just hope that we won't need to call on them." She gave the riders a smile, glad that she had enough to place about the field. Two browns and a blue and all nimble in their ways. "Now we'll start with the greens once again as they are the quickest to take wing. If you wish to wait, please let me know. Anyone prefer to wait until further into the Lesson?"
For once, Dawnuth was waiting rather patiently for her turn to try this. Hers was quite excited about this and it drifted to her as well.

K'ryn nodded a little. That made sense to him. He just hoped they didn't need it. Optith stayed close to K'ryn's side as Bandit cheeped softly.
Hebertinth bumped Laliy's leg, unsettling Shiver a little. }:We will do good this time,:[ the green said. Laliy smiled. **Yes, we will**
Elliwodth was ready to try flaming and flying this time. Flying hadn't been too hard, so she wasn't scared and even Kiyoni seemed more comfortable with the idea.

"Okay," Annalyra said. "Let's begin, then. First we'll take a flight across the Practice Field, then we'll flame on the ground astride our dragonets, at a decoy I've set up," she motioned toward the boulder that had been placed nearby with a circular target with swirly lines on it to mimic Thread. "Then we'll take wing again and flame in the air at no target, but safely. Any questions, ask at anytime. Let's start with Laliy and Herbertinth, please."

The young pair stepped forward. Laliy checked over Hebertinth's straps as Shiver readjusted on her shoulder. Once she was satisfied with the straps she swung onto her moody green. Hebertinth snorted softly and ran a few steps to be airborn.
The pair glided across the practice field before returning to their spot. Laily patted her dragon's shoulder before getting some firestone. She wasn't sure how they would do since none of them had really tried to aim yet. Hebertinth chewed the stone and waited for a good flame. She soon managed to get a pretty good flame and tried to hit the target. She missed dead center, but did manage to get part of it.
**Good job, Hebertinth. Now, let's try it in the air.**
}:Of course,:{ the green agreed, running to get in the air once again. She steadied out and tried to flame again. She sent herself a little off balance, but didn't do too badly. }:It's different in the air,:{ she commented as she gently landed again.
