Angel's Cove supports its own unique breed of whers called Crique (pronounced "Cry-Kue") whers. Below is some information about Crique whers and a little bit of the history surrounding the breed itself.

History of Crique Whers:
Crique whers came about when a group of like-minded wherhandlers and some inventive wher enthusists got together and decided to help change general public opinion about whers. This began an extensive four year experiment that resulted in a new breed of wher. When Angel's Cove offically became a weyr, it was the first weyr to open its doors to the new breed. In thanks, the creators of the breed named them Crique, or Cove, after the weyr itself.
