Month 2:
Marna had just finished settling into her place in the candidite barracks and now she was looking for something to do. She hadn't expected things would be this quite and it bothered her somewhat. She hated the quiet when no one was around. She perfered to be around people and now she wondered if maybe she was the only female candidite in the barracks. She hoped not, then she'd be bored out of her mind until the hatching.
Marna
Laliy had been putting her few belongings away and not paying much attention to her feline. Mirage growled unhappily. The feline was bored and wanted something to do. She finally snatched a ribbon from Laliy and took off. "Mirage!" the girl shrieked, racing after her feline. She nearly collided with Marna in her haste to catch Mirage. "Oh, I'm sorry," she quickly apologized.
Laliy<>Mirage
Marna flattened herself to the wall as another candidite almost ran into her. "Oh dear!" She turned and offered a shy smile to the other candidite. "Um...hello. I'm Marna." She spotted the feline on the floor and smiled brighter. "She's beautiful, is she yours?"
Marna
Laliy managed to get stopped before actually collided with Marna. She smiled at the other candidate. "Sorry again for the head long run there." She reached down and picked up Mirage. "I'm Laliy and this little rascal here is Mirage." The feline meowed softly, still holding her ribbon.
Laliy<>Mirage
Marna shook her head and just grinned. "It's fine, I'm used to it by now. It's nice to meet you Laliy. Your feline is beautiful by the way. I've never seen one up close before." She looked at the feline in the other candidites arms with a clear interest. "Where did you get her?"
Marna
Laliy smiled. "I still try to be more careful next time. Don't want to run over a potential friend after all," she said cheerily. Mirage started to purr at the compliment. "Well, that is a definite thank you from Mirage and me as well." The girl's eyes turned sad for a moment. "A friend of mine gave her to me. I'm not sure where he found her though."
Laliy<>Mirage
Marna smiled brightly. "I'd like that, if we could be friends." She noticed her new friend's sad look. "Don't look so sad, I'm sure he would be glad to know you're taking good care of her."
Marna
"Friends then," Laliy smiled. The girl nodded, brightening up a little. "Good point. He would be happy to know she's well taken care of." Mirage started to play with the ribbon that she still held. "Would you like to pet her?" Laliy asked. "She's really quite friendly, if not a little mischievous from time to time."
Laliy<>Mirage
Marna grinned delightedly. "Yes, I'd love to pet her. I've always wanted a pet of my own but was never able to get one. I think you're really lucky." She reached out and began to pet the feline gently. "She's so soft."
Marna
Mirage rubbed her head against Marna's hand, purring happily. The little feline loved attention. She would be friends with anyone that would pet her. "Hmm, maybe I can help you find somewhere to get a pet," Laliy offered. "It's great having one around."
Laliy<>Mirage
Marna smiled at the purring feline then shook her head. "Oh I wouldn't want you to go to any trouble over it. Besides, with the hatching coming up so soon, if I Impress I'll be to busy to worry about a pet. It's fun to think about having one though."
Marna
Laliy shook her head. "It really wouldn't be any trouble, but if you want to wait til after the hatching I understand." Mirage continued to purr. "Until then though, you're welcome to play with Mirage. She seems to like you anyhow."
Laliy<>Mirage
Marna nodded. "I think I'll wait until after the hatching before I try for a pet. She's wonderful though and I'd love to have one if I could get the chance. I'll bet any pet I get wouldn't be as adorable as your Mirage though. She really friendly." Marna smiled then. "At least now we can Stand for the Hatching together, huh Laliy? It won't be so scary if we go together."
Marna
The girl nodded. "Just make sure that if you ever decide to get a pet find me. I'll do my best to help you find one." Mirage purred happily at Marna's words. "Well, Mirage thanks you," she smiled. Laliy nodded. "Yes, I agree. I was afraid that I would have to Stand by myself cause I didn't know anyone."
Laliy<>Mirage
Marna smiled happily. "I will. Probably a bit after the hatching I'll be looking for a pet of my own." She gently scratched Mirage's neck and ears. "Such a pretty baby. Is she full grown Laliy? Or will she get bigger?"
Marna
Laliy grinned. "Good. I'm sure you'll love having one." The feline started to purr happily. She loved any attention she could get. "Mirage is as big as she'll get. Some get bigger then her, but I'm glad she's smaller. She makes an excellent cuddle buddy," she said with a smile.
