Annalyra sighed as she studied the twenty bags full of wood chunks she'd managed to borrow from the kitchens in order to teach her next Lesson. "Call them, Love." she said aloud to her green who had been momentarily occupied by watching Barith off in the distance.
Without a moment's second thought, the large green returned her attention to Hers and called out to the Weyrlings, {{Time for your next Lesson, littles!}}
Lulith had been busy playing with Hope. Unusual for the little gold, but she had settled down a fair bit and now worked decently well with Hers and the little green that was Hers, too. Plus, she had even thought greatly about these Lessons they were doing. She might as well be a good little dragonet for as long as they'll last. After that, then she'll have some fun her way. {{Mine, Precisith calls for a Lesson. Shall we?}} Gunteera looked up from her herbal book she was studying. [[We shall, Lovely.]] she returned before shutting the book and placing it on her shelf and getting up. "Straps or not?" {{No straps.}} "Okay. Come on, Hope." The green chittered merrily and flitted along in their wake.

Seerowth was off exploring with C'lin and J'dan. Even Claudith seemed to enjoy it. The two browns looked up at Precisith's call. }:Lessons!:{ they both called cheerily, causing the boys to laugh and Trig to cheep excitedly.
Elliwodth yawned mightly as she sat up. The little green had been enjoying a nap while Kiyoni cleaned their straps. }:We have another lesson. Then can you bathe me?:{ the green asked hopefully.
Kiyoni laughed. **of course, love. Come on.**
The two hurried out of the barracks and nearly ran into K'ryn and Optith. The little bronze was hurrying K'ryn and Bandit toward the Lake, but stopped when he saw Elliwodth. He still liked to make sure that his brothers and sisters were ready and everything was good. K'ryn smiled at Kiyoni. "Guess we have another lesson," he said as Bandit landed on his shoulder.
"I wonder what we'll learn this time," Kiyoni said.
Laliy and Hebertinth were already at the lake when Precisith called. Little Shiver was helping Laliy bathe Hebertinth. The green looked up almost angrily. }:We have another lesson,:{ she said grudingly. Lessons weren't her favorite, but she'd tolerate them as long as Laliy was there.

Tohanath raised her head from her perch on Or`n's lap. She'd been dozing peacefully as her Own was practicing wiht his lyre. Though he was no prodigy with the instrument he could play fairlsy well.
Mine, we are being called for a Lesson.
Or`n looked down at his pretty green and smiled with a nod. Tying his lyre to his hip and rolling up his scrolls of music to tuck under his tunic he rose. "Ok, let's go," he said as Yinmin scampered behind them, only leaping up to glide after them when she began to lag behind.
Mine! Mine! We have a lesson. Come quickly or we will miss the fun!
Velina laughed at her little green's antics but without a second's hesitation raced off after her. "Ok, love. Let's go to that lesson!"

{{another lesson mine..no straps this time}} Cameith quietly informed Hers. Niradene smiled to herself. "Well let's go then Cam." she said outloud as the pair headed to the lesson.
Reedith had been of course thinking pondering things as he usually did {{ah another lesson mine another chance to learn quick lets be off i don't want to miss anything}} Sherly smiled and roller her eyes Reed ate up every lesson they had had so far and she knew today would be no exception. So they to joined the others as they came to the lesson

Eteinth raised his head from peeking under things for Search who had run off again. Dragon was mimicking Eteinth's movements as he too looked for the little blue. {{Mine, Lesson time again.}} the bronze informed just as Search's tail could be seen sticking out from under a table. {{There he is!}}
T'raren smiled as his firelizard was finally found and another Lesson was to begin soon. "Let's get going," he said after grabbing his curiouc blue.
Starkith was enjoying a scrub as was Jonnth when the call came. Rinsing quickly so their dragonets wouldn't get itchy during the lesson, the two boys headed for Precisith a short distance off.
Irohidth had been dozing while His worked on a saddle for the runnerbeasts. {{Lesson time, Mine.}} the brown said before nudging Mischief awake, too. No sense in letting the firelizard sleep while he had to be awake. Mischief yawned then got up, wondering what was going on until his pet got up and headed off, then the brown was flitting up to his shoulder to perch until he woke fully.
Zyurth and Visageth were happily exploring something together when they were called and reluctantly answered the call, alerting Theirs to the notice as well before heading off, Theirs in tow.
Mihelith napped next to Dawnuth while His and Hers talked of Weyr things, but he wasn't so asleep that he hadn't heard the call for a Lesson. {{Mine, Lesson time. Dawnuth, sister, it's time for a Lesson.}} the brown said politely.
Dawnuth woke with a start, practically jumping on top of Hers in the process. {{What?! Ohh! Mine, I'm sorry! Did I hurt you?!}} the green said as she knocked Hers over, old Klah scurrying out of the way of the commotion.
"I'm okay, Love. It's Lesson time now. Are you okay?" Rayra answered as she righted herself.
{{Good. I'm sorry though.}}
Rayra and Dawnuth quickly detoured to the kennels to drop off Klah before meeting up with the rest again, showing up with the last of the Weyrlings.
Once all the Weyrlings had shown up, Annalyra got their attention with a smile. "Alright everyone. Today we're going to start our firestone tossing. Think of today more like a game over a lesson. In these sacks at my feet are wood chunks, much lighter than firestone, but heavy enough to be a good start for all of you. As the months move on, we'll work up to the real thing, but we don't need any pulled muscles at your ages." Stepping down of her green's foreleg, the WeyrlingMaster picked up a bag. "Alright everyone. Find a partner and come get a sack of wood firestone for the two of you to toss between each other."

C'lin and Seerowth couldn't wait. they both loved learning and to be able to incorporate it into a game too. That was great. He quickly looked around for a partner.
J'dan had already asked Kiyoni to be his partner, so C'lin was left to find someone else. Not that the boy minded. He liked meeting new people.
Hebertinth looked around at the others. She really didn't want to partner up. Laliy sighed and tried to decide who would be the best for her moody green.
Optith and K'ryn looked around as well. They were both looking forward to this lesson. It sounded very interesting. }:Lulith, woud you care to be partners?:{ the bronze asked his golden sister.

{{Visagth do you have a partner yet? would you like to be my partner?}} Reedith asked after being released. Sherly rolled her eyes she figured that was who her blue would first ask but she didn't mind.
Cameith looked around she was sort of dissapointed to see Claudith already had a partner but it was always nice to have others around. {{seerowth..i noticed yours doesn't have a partner would you and yours like to be our partners?}} she asked quietly and softly of her brother

Seerowth looked over at Cameith's soft request. He had met the green a couple other times because of Claudith. }:I would like that,:[ the little brown said excitedly. He definitely didn't have a way with words like Claudith did, but he was friendly.
C'lin chuckled as Seerowth headed over to Cameith and Niradene. He smiled at the green weyrling. "Guess our dragons found our partners for us," he said friendly.

Cameith was relieved {{thank you brother i am sure we'll work well together}} she said she knew the brown because of Claudith and it made her feel relived that she had someone she knew at least a little bit to work with.
Niradene smiled and said "It seems so, i don't mind though."

}:You are welcome,:{ Seerowth answered, still prancing a little. The brown loved lessons and he was looking forward to working with Cameith. It was fun working with new ones.
C'lin chuckled at how excited his brown was. Seerowth was large for his size and age and it made him look slightly funny to be prancing around, but C'lin wasn't going to say that. "I agree. It will be nice to work with you and Cameith."

Cameith watched her brother prancing around it was kind of funny but she wasn't the type to laugh at others. Niradene watched the brown prancing and nodded "it will be fun." she agreed

Seerwoth didn't seem to notice. He was too happy to be brought down anyhow. Lessons were always such a good time. }:Soon we will be able to fly with Ours,:[ he said happily.
C'lin shook his head as he watched his brown. "Yes, it will be fun. I wonder what we'll be learning today."

{{Yes! Yes! Come Mine! We'll be partners with Reedith and His!}} Visageth replied to the request of his brother. M'kan gave Sherly a smile and stepped up to her. "I guess the dragons picked," he said cheerily before excusing himself to get a sack of "firestone".
Lulith looked to Optith, then to Hers as she repeated the request. Gunteera smiled and nodded. "I guess Optith wants us to pair up," she told the other Weyrling as she stepped over to him.
Once everyone had found a partner and a firestone sack, Annalyra requested attention once more. "Okay everyone. I want two lines with you all facing your partners. Give yourselves 6 paces between you for right now." Once everyone had complied, she smiled and continued with a sack of her own. "Now, we're going to toss these sacks to our partners. The proper technique for doing this is posture and grip. Please watch me a moment as I toss this one to Keistra." Annalyra demonstrated how they were to toss the sack, then continued again. "Just like with any game of catch, we're all different and so we must adapt, but what I have shown you is the basic form for tossing firestone so that you don't strain your muscles or back." Stepping back a moment, she faced them all again. "Any questions before we begin?"

Tohanath blinked at the instructions...Hers was going to play catch? Well that was a nice change from all the studying and note he'd had to pour over the past few months. Turning to hers she bumped her head against his hip and crooned. Come, Mine. Manxith and Hers have no partner, let's join them, she suggested. The young man, Or`n looked down at his Own after he'd take in all of the instructions then nodded. "Sounds good to me. She looks pretty strong too, I'm gonna have to work out more if I want to be able to carry Firestone," he said, looking down at his arms as they moved over towards Velina and Manxith.
Velina was on the same idea as she looked downa t her gangly frame. Yes, she was strong, but she was clumsy too, having not grown into her long arms and legs yet. Mine, mine! Tohanath wishes to join us, let us join and play catch![/color] the green chirped before moving behind her and beginning to push. "O...ok ok, I'm going," she said with a small laugh as she was pushed towards Or`n and both Weyrling sna d Their moved forward to collect a bag.

K'ryn chuckled as Bandit landed on his shoulder. Optith sat up straighter. "Well, that is fine with me, as long as you don't mind."
C'lin, J'dan, Kiyoni, Laliy, and K'ryn quickly lined up with their partners. The flits watched curiously, wondering what was going on.

}:I can't wait to fly with them,:[ Seerowth said as he got in line beside C'lin.

Gunteera stepped back from K'ryn the mentioned spacing, Hope flitting off to rest near Lulith to watch quietly.
M'kan smiled at Sherly as he stepped back from her and looked at the sack in his hands. This should be entertaining.
L'ney stood across from K'sid, no surprise, their firelizards perched on Starkith since Jonnth was being a grouch as usual.
G'tee had asked Marna to partner with him and Rayra had asked S'et to partner with her, Mischief sniffing out Walweth curiously.
T'raren had paired with K'lar for the toss, Search and Dragon perched atop Zyurth chattering away at each other.
Tia'ar asked one of the greenriders to partner with him and stood waiting for the word to begin.
After everyone seemed ready, Annalyra instructed them to begin. "Now do pay special mind to any straining you feel. If you feel any, please call on me. I'll be walking around watching you all toss and correcting anything I think needs corrected. Begin carefully now!"

Velina picked up one of the bags and tested it in her hands, well this was no problem for her, but of course she was used to physical labor. Turning to Or`n she passe dhim the bag and gasped in surprise that as he took it into his hands both himself and the bag dropepd to the ground. "Oh...are you ok?" she asked as he stood back up, obviously straining a bit from the weight.
Or`n nodded as he stood and flushed deeply. "Sorry...not used to really heavy stuff," he grunted as he stood. "I got it, I just need to get used to it." His moved closer to him and sniffed at the bag before Or`n and Velina moved into position, leaving the dragonets and flit to sit on the side lines to watch. Clutching the bag Or`n swung it a few times, his muscles getting used to the weight before looking to Annalyra as she explained the next move, nodding as she moved around them. Turning to Velina. "Ready?"
At the young woman nodded and the young blonde tossed the bag which Velina easily caught, watching Or`n as he panted slightly before straightening, readying for another pass.

"Here it comes," M'kan said as he let the sack go toward Sherly.
G'tee fell forward upon letting go of the sack his first time and Annalyra smiled and helped him up.
"Put your shoulders back a little more and spread your feet apart just a bit more," she corrected him. As she passed Velina and Or'n, she gave Or'n a smile. "Are you alright, Or'n?" she asked with a bit of concern. He looked like nothing much more than a bruise would come of that fall.

Laliy smiled at Tia'ar. She didn't know the young man very well, but she was definitely willing to get to know him. Hebertinth had reluctantly left Laliy's side to curl up with Shiver and watch.
J'dan and Kiyoni were both prepared for the sack. Neither one was a stranger to hard work. One had grown up in a Weyr, while the other had been a Trader. Both their dragons watched curiously as Trig perched on Claudith's head.
C'lin nodded. "Here it comes then." The boy nearly lost his balance as he tossed the bag. He was used to hard work, but he hadn't been prepared for such a weight. Seerowth seemed to laugh.
K'ryn smiled at Gunteera. "Ready?" he asked as he shifted the bag. He hoped they would both manage okay. He didn't want either of them falling. Plus, he didn't figure Lulith would be very happy with him.
Optith sat quietly beside Lulith with Bandit perched on his head. }:Do you think they will do good?:[ he asked, watching their Chosen. }:Those look heavy.:{

Or`n looked up at Annalyra at her concern and flsuhed deepler then earlier. "Um...y...yeah, I've just never really done anything like this before...it's just really new..." he said and waved at Velina to wait a moment. "Is there anything I can do to...you know, get a little stronger? I've had nothing more then a quill or a lyre in my hands...never anything heavier and I...I don't wanna be so weak I can't work with Tohanath."
Velina lowered the bag when Or`n waved at her and sighed softly. He was a small little thing. Now don't get her wrong...he was strong in mind and very intelligent, it wasn't that she thought he wasn't cut out to be a dragonrider...he just needed a little extra training...maybe...
