Since they're Four Months old now by the calendar...
Now the fun would begin for the Weyrlings and most of their riders. Annalyra had done preliminary checks of the dragonets with the dragonhealers and those riders who rode runners frequently throughout the previous sevenday to determine whether or not the youngsters could hold their riders and that they were fit enough to do so. All had cleared, but some with conditions like the smaller dragonets that obviously couldn't hold their riders for very long without straining a muscle or two. In due time, all would be well. Also during the past sevenday, she'd double checked the Weyrling harnesses in order to assure the closest fits to the youngsters for this all important lesson. She didn't need any unecessary falls, however short they might be, to scare the poor things. One other big factor she'd made the time to discover was how much experience in riding, runnerbeast or dragon, that her charges had.
Precisith sat nearby in full gear to serve as a demonstration to the lesson as well. [[Call them, love.]] Annalyra thought to her green who willingly complied. {{Come along, littles! It's time for another lesson and you will all like this one! Make sure you're harnessed.}} the big green called to all the dragonets pleasantly. They would be taking another big step forward today.

Or`n looked up a bit surprised...harnessed? He blinked and turned to his Own as she lounged next to him as he wrote over a new set of lyrics. No one could tell by her size but Tohanath was a physically powerful dragonet. Though built petite like her Own and very slender she was incredibly strong wiht a high leve of endurance that rivalled that of a brown. He actually looked forward to a Threadfall...and even her first Flight to see just how long she would go, but wouldn't be surprised if she could last over half a Fall. "Come, my beautiful, let's go back and get you harnessed up." Tohanath raised her head and turned to Or`n with a soft purr before rising with him. ((Shall I carry you there?)) she asked hopefully as she rose gracefully, her pale jade hide practially glowing in the sun. "No, first the lesson and perhaps you can carry me back," he smiled as he placed a hand on the back of her neck as they went back to the Barracks. There they met up with Velina but she was just finishing with Manxith's harness as the other green pair entered.
"There we go...oh, hello, Or`n," she smiled before rising from her kneeling position and caressing Manxith. "I'm going to head over, I'll meet you there."
"Sure thing, Velina," he said as he set his parchments and quill aside to begin with Tohanath's harness.

Optith watched over K'ryn's shoulder as the boy tried to reread some of his notes that Bandit was sitting on. K'ryn soon gave up and was about to get up when Optith said they had another lesson. "Harness?" he asked in surprised.
}:That is what Precisith says,:{ the bronze said. K'ryn complied and the three were soon headed out of the barracks.
J'dan and C'lin grinned at the news. They were both looking foward to the lessons. Claudith sat quietly and let J'dan put his harness on him as Trig flew around their heads.
Seerowth on the other hand was prancing in place. C'lin chuckled. It was obvious that his brown was just as excited about the lesson as he was.
};I'm not going,:{ Hevertinth grumbled. };No more lessons.:{ The green had hated lessons from the beginning. She didn't like being around the others. She just wanted to be with Laliy. Not that she wouldn't help someone in need.
**If you behave I'll give you a nice bath afterward,** Laliy promised as Shiver chittered at her.
Hebertinth nodded and finally let Laliy harness her. Kiyoni on the other hand wasn't having any trouble harnessing Elliwodth.
}:Do I look pretty?{ the green asked. }:I want to make sure I look pretty. That way you look pretty too.:{
Kiyoni laughed. **You look fine, love. Come now. We must go.**
Kiyoni and Laliy walked out together and met up with J'dan and C'lin. K'ryn was already where he was supposed to be.

{{Mine the big green calls for another lesson of course...and she wants me harnessed}} the quiet green informed hers. Niradene blinked in surprise. He green was definitly the biggest green in their clutch and more than capable of carrying her weight. She put the harness on her green lovingly smiling. as they made their way.
Reedith was excited {{harnesses mine the big green wants us to wear our harness to the lesson, how exciting i cant wait to see what things we learn today}} the smart blue said. Sherly grimaced she wasn't enitrly sure her lean blue would be able to carry her wieght yes he had grow but still she knew she was overweight. But she wouldn't deter her blue of his excitment as she put on his harness. "Alright reed let's go." she said as they headed to the meeting

Lulith's eyes snapped open at Precisith's call. {{I was almost asleep!}} she grumbled at her teacher before turning to Hers. {{Gunteera-Mine, another lesson and I must be harnessed.}} she relayed curtly, then abruptly sat up, upsetting Hope who had managed a perch on the shimmery back of the little gold. {{Harnessed?! Mine, I get to carry you! Quick, I want my harness. We must go quickly!}} Yes, she was a bit excited about this idea. Why else would Precisith tell them to be harnessed? Hope, had taken flight, then flitted to Gunteera's shoulder for safety until the gold seemed....excited. Her Pet's dragon was excited? Gunteera had been studying a few medicinal records to help her better understand her dragonet as well as others. So much for reading anything else when her gold's thought voice was so....happy. "Okay, okay, hold still while I harness you," the teen said cheerily. Once she somehow managed to get the harness on her figeting gold, they headed for the lesson area, Gunteera nearly running to keep up with her excited dragonet.

Two pairs arrived at the lesson area one after the other. First Velina and her Manxith appeared, the harness was on snuggly though not too tight. She had lucky oiled them well to make sure they were comfortable around her Own. ((We're here, Mine, we're here and I will carry you all over now, I'll even carry you back to the Barracks and to the Lake and...)) she prattled on merrily.
Or`n was not far behind because much like Velina had cared for his harnesses carefully and they looked wonderful on his Own. "You look perfect," he smiled as he caressed her head gently, her crooning softly as Yinmin sat comfortably on her human's shoulders.

Seerowth pranced happily beside C'lin. }:This will be fun,:{ the little brown said. C'lin laughed and glanced over at his friend. J'dan and Claudith seemed a little more calm about whole thing.
K'ryn and Optith waited quietly for everyone to arrive. The bronze wanted to make sure that all of his siblings made it to their lesson.
Elliwodth arched her neck as she walked beside Kiyoni. }:Don't I look lovely in my harness? You will look pretty when I carry you too.:{
Kiyoni smiled. **You look lovely, dear,** she agreed.
Hebertinth stayed close to Laliy. Shiver sat on the green's head. }:When I can carry you we can go some place where it's only you and me and the little.:{
Laliy sighed. She was going to have a hard time getting her little green to associate with the others

{{ah here we are and ready to go..i hope this thing doesn't draw to much attention towards me but i should be fun mine}} Cameith commented as she sat near claudith. Niradene chuckled softly and patted her green.
Reedith and Sherly finally arrived ohh this is too exciting i get to learn how to carry you mine i wonder what it'll feel like i wonder what other things we might learn today...i hope they start soon i am just bursting for this knowledge Reedith said barely hiding his excitment and joy.

Who spent they're free time studying? Zyurth was exploring! With the help of His and His's brothers and their dragons and even Starkith and Jonnth and Theirs and Eteinth and His. Yes, Zyurth was currently being the seeker as the others he was playing with were hiding within the area they were currently allowed to roam in. This was fun! {{There!! I got you, Eteinth!}}, the smaller bronze said as he touched a glimmering nose tip. {{I found Eteinth!}} he called out to the others. Then Precisith's call came to him and play was abandoned. {{Mine, lesson time and Precisith says to be harnessed.}} With that, hide and seek was ended as the boys all emerged with their dragonets and headed quickly for the barracks to get their harnesses.
Eteinth had THOUGHT he was hidden enough. Apparently a bronze hide attracted sunlight. Oh well! He was the seeker and suddenly it was lesson time. Where'd their free time go? That had gone quickly. {{I think I get to carry you, T'raren-Mine.}} he said as they headed with the others.
Starkith had been happily involved in the game with the others, His right beside him wherever they went and hid or looked. Besides, there were no pretty ladies nearby to distract him. Well, there were ladies, well one, in the form of Jonnth's Own's pet firelizard, but she didn't count. She was a 'lizard, not a dragon. At Precisith's call, he immediately came out of his hiding place. {{Harness on and a lesson. Do I get to carry you today, Mine?}} he asked of His, already started for the barracks where he knew his harness was. [] L'ney answered cheerily by his thoughts. He liked not fussing over his speech problem all the time. {{Okay!}} and Starkith was off at a bit faster pace.
Mihelith sat up, his well-shaped brown head appearing above the boulder he was currently hiding behind. {{Mine, Precisith calls and says to be harnessed. That means I get to carry you today, don't I?}} he inquired, seeing the others he was playing with appearing from their current hiding places. "Yes, I'm sure you do," Tia'ar confirmed as he stood up and dusted himself off a bit before joining up with his brothers and friends.
Visageth looked up from his inspection of a crawlie of sorts while trying to remain hidden behind a tree. He sure thought it was possible, though the tree did nothing to hide him and His since it was only the width of his own neck. {{What? Oh! Harness. Yes. Mine, I need harnessed. It's lesson time. Precisith says we'll like this lesson. Will we, Mine?}} Crawlie forgotten, the curious blue headed with the others as His did likewise. [[I'm pretty sure we'll enjoy the lesson, Visageth. We'll be learning something new.]] M'kan answered with a smile on his face as well as in his thoughts.
Jonnth snorted and stood up from his comfortable position behind a bush, stretching briefly. {{Mine. Another lesson and I'm to be harnessed. Just when I was starting to have some fun.}} he complained for indeed, the usually grumpy and distant blue had been having a bit of fun with this game of hiding and seeking. And His liked it, too. K'sid smiled at his blue and placed a hand on the dark hide as they headed for the barracks in compliance with their teacher's request. [[I'm sure we can play this again.]] he thought to his dragonet.
Irohidth had been happily enjoying His' sole attention. No little brown Mischief either for he was off playing with another firelizard somewhere nearby, but it was just Irohidth and G'tee, and the brown was loving every moment of their talking and the rubs. Then Precisith had to butt in. Heaving a huge sigh, the brown reluctantly got up. {{Mine, Precisith calls for a lesson in that I must be harnessed. Let's go.}} G'tee smiled at the information. "There's a good chance I can ride you today. That lesson should be comin' up real soon and if you need to be harnessed, then this could be it," he said before thinking about his firelizard and directing his dragonet toward the barracks.
Rayra had been coaxing Dawnuth to approach something with her and Klah when the timid green stopped dead in her tracks. {{Rayra-Mine, the big one calls again.}} she said as she stood stock still. [[What did she say, love?]] Rayra asked gently. {{To be harnessed for the lesson.}} the little green replied warily. [[Come on, then. We'll get you harnessed and go see what we need to learn today. I promise, all will be okay.]] {{O-okay.}}

Kesitra arrived at the sight and nodded to Annalyra as she and Payath landed. "Hey, has the lesson started yet? I've got some news from the Weyrwoman about this lesson before it starts."
Marna looked up from where she'd been washing Walweth when she notice the blue acting stranger than usual.
**Mine, mine! Another lesson, we need to get me harnessed. Lets go, lets go!**
Marna sighed but harnessed the blue and followed him to the lesson.
S'et was sitting with Realerth when the blue informed him of the lesson. Smiling, the young rider did as he'd been told and the pair too left for the lesson.

Claudith looked over at Cameith as Seerowth on his other side inspected his harness. Then turned his attention to watching Trig fly around them. }:Good day, lovely sister,:{ Claudith said with a bow of his head. }:You are looking lovely in your harness.:{
J'dan smiled over at Niradene. "Seems like Claudith and Cameith enjoy each other's company," the Trader boy said.
C'lin nodded a hello to the girl. He didn't know Niradene quite as well as his friend did, but he was always willing to talk to new people.

Precisith watched the other green land nearby and was listening, so as Hers seemed a bit confused, she was curious. What was so special about mounting one's dragon for the first time? Annalyra gave Keistra a questioning look. Was this some last minute thing? "What sort of news? And no, not yet. There's one or two still making their way here." The WeyrlingMaster glanced at the gathering Weyrlings, noting that the stragglers were just about there, but she could wait a moment more for the Assistant WeyrlingMaster's words.

Keistra nodded. "That's good, and it's nothing to bad. Shii just warned us not to let the weyrlings try riding until we could supervise. She also said to limit the amount of time they're on their dragons to about ten minutes and that at this time they may only learn to put on the straps. They can only get on their dragon's backs in the water so that there isn't to much strain put on the young dragonets."

{{good day to you brother}} Cameith said softly shifting a bit then said {{thank you brother i hoped it didn't draw more attention to me..you look good in yours}} she said. Niradene smiled and said "Yes it seems so." she said then nodded a return hello to C'lin she didn't know him very well but didn't mind making a new friend.
Reedith was looking around {{ah there's visageth i wonder what new things he has discovered..hullo visageth found any intresting things lately i know i have}} he said spotting his brother.

}:No, you look lovely,:{ Claudith reassured her. }:It brings out your lovely green hide.:{ The brown bowed his head. }:Thank you kindly, dear Cameith.:{
J'dan giggled as he caught snipets of Claudith's conversation with Cameith. "They are very talkative today," he smiled.
Seerowth watched his brother and sister. }:How do you think the harnesses help with flying?:{ he asked them, trying to figure everything out.
J'dan suddenly realized that Niradene probably didn't know C'lin yet. "Niradene, this is my friend C'lin and his little brown Seerowth. C'lin, this is Niradene and her lovely green is Cameith." "Pleasure to meet you, Niradene," C'lin smiled.

Annalyra nodded, but was still confused. She'd gone over the lesson plans with the Weyrwoman. It was a part of her job, afterall. But, oh well. Must have been a last minute comment or something, but that was how she was going to run the class anyway. Water did marvels for everything from healing to teaching. "Well, the reason I asked for them to come harnessed is to see if their previous lessons have paid off. And it's only proper they have their harnesses on in order to mount. They won't always have use of the water once they've grown." That and she'd done all the preliminary checks. If there was even one dragonet that couldn't remotely hold his or her rider, then Annalyra was going to postpone the lesson until that dragonet could. She was going to keep the group all on the same page as much as possible.
Visageth looked up from an inspection of his harness with His, having complained about it not feeling right. M'kan was in the process of fixing the problem the best he could when the blue's head spun about to look for his brother. {{Reedith! Yes, I've found many things! Especially something called hiding places. Those are fun to find!}} he answered his brother cheerily.
Once all the youngsters had gathered, Annalyra smiled at the twenty pairs. Those dragonets that had been shy had come out a bit more since the teamwork exercises and likewise for the riders. Clapping her hands, the WeyrlingMaster waited until she had the youngsters' attention, then she proceeded. "Today we're going to mount our dragons for the first time. But before we do so, Keistra and I will go around and check that you've all got your harnesses on correctly. We don't need any falls today, even though it will be short and wet," she said, hinting about the part of being in the water. She would explain that more once the harnesses were checked. "Any questions, have your dragonet's ask Precisith or Payath or wait until one of us comes to you," she finished before starting around the group to check the dragonets' harnesses for the best possible fit.

Marna and S'et looked to each other, then to their dragons and nodded. They'd done the harnesses right, they new. Realerth would've complained at His if S'et had done it wrong and Walweth was a pain when any little thing annoyed him. So they thought they were set.
Still the part about getting wet....that worried both teens.

Claudith sat up a little straighter when Annalrya said they would check their straps. He thought his were on right. They didn't hurt anyway.
C'lin glanced back at Seerowth. The little brown didn't seem to be uncomfortable in his straps. "Do you think we put them on right?" he asked worriedly.
}:We wouldn't want them falling,:[ Claudith and Seerowth said at the same time.
Hebertinth stayed close to Laliy. She didn't want someone checking her straps. }:Mine are fine. I don't want them near me.:{
Laliy sighed and touched her green's head. **They have to, love. Just in case. It will be okay.** Shiver chittered his agreement.
Elliwodth was too busy studying her straps to really think about the fit. Kiyoni hoped she had them on right. The green had been moving too much to make sure.
Optith sat quietly beside K'ryn, watching his other brothers and sisters. He was pretty sure that his straps were fine. }:Nothing is wrong with mine,:{ he informed K'ryn as Bandit landed on his head. }:But I do not mind them making sure.:{

Lulith paid unusual interest and attention to what Annalyra had to say today. The shining little gold was anticipating a chance at finally carrying Hers. She just couldn't wait. Standing next to Hers, her tail twitched back and forth and her clawed feet just wouldn't stay put, marking little depressions into the ground beneath with each time she shifted her weight back to one or the other. {{Gunteera-Mine, do you think my straps are right? They must be perfect so that I'll never let you fall.}} she said with a croon of happiness. "I'm sure your straps are perfectly fitted. After all, I wouldn't want to be a poor example for the rest of our class, right?" Gunteera returned, Hope chittering away happily on her shoulder. {{Right!}}Eteinth looked at himself the best he could to see if his straps were in place right. He wasn't uncomfortable. That must mean they were right, right? {{I do get to carry you!}} the clumsy bronze said cheerily, getting an affectionate smile from His and even those two pesky blues were cheerily chittering away. Zyurth nosed at his straps here and there, ultimately loosening a rather important strap. He couldn't help it the buckle was shiney! Taking a few steps toward another dragonet, he stepped right out of his straps, his saddle sliding down to wind up under his belly and he froze in confusion, craning his neck around to look beneath himself and blinked. {{Mine, what happened?}} he asked, wondering just why the thing His was supposed to sit in was in the wrong place on him. K'lar was quick to help his young dragon and hurriedly fixed the problem. Him, a runner rider and rather good at that, had obviously not tightened the straps correctly. [ ] the teen apologized as he fixed his bronze's harness.
Starkith stood proudly and unmoving save for his head which was in constant motion toward the ladies. {{My, you look beautiful, Herbertinth.}} he said with a croon of affection.

Hebertinth lifted her head at Starkith's words. The little green hadn't realized any of her clutchmates had even noticed her. She tried to bury her head in Laliy's side. }:Thank you,:{ the green said softly, actually acting shy. She did have a temper, but when in a group she was shy. }:Is that strap supposed to hang down?:[ she asked, indicating one of the longer straps that L'ney would need. Laliy's wasn't as long since she wasn't as tall as the Raider boy.

{{You're very welcome, beautiful sister.}} Starkith returned before studying his harness. With a draconic shrug, the young bronze looked back up. {{I don't know. I suppose we'll know soon.}} he finished.
Mihelith stood quietly, purposely putting himself nearest on of the shy ones. He liked to help, that was all. His straps were fit the best they could be as he was so calm and patient and His knew what to do.
Irohidth glared at another dragonet, feeling the need to be protective of His and when the teachers passed by to check his straps, he glared at them, too.
Visageth watched the others curiously, finding something to attract his interest on one of the young riders, but keeping quiet as he watched closely.
Jonnth kept quiet, not half as moody as usual, but still just as watchful, his interest a bit sidetracked by a distant crecheworker with a youngster at their side.
Dawnuth stood timidly, crowding Hers for safety as she watched Keistra and Annalyra make their rounds.

Once all had been checked, Annalyra took her place near Precisith again. "Okay everyone! Mounting a dragon is different than a runner in a few ways. Mounting your dragonets will be different than mounting grown dragons as well, so please pay careful attention." She turned to her green and stepped up on the big dragon's foreleg carefully. "Now the key is to stay calm because you all know how your dragonets react to your emotions. Pay careful attention to your dragonet's wings while mounting." She paused to point out her dragon's wings, though they were clearly well away from her intended position. "Your dragonets are small yet and you can easily bump their wings while mounting. Kind of like bumping a runner's rump with your foot as you swing your leg over." She looked at a few of her charges that had had runner experience and would know what she spoke of. "Now, forgive me if I seem blunt or too novice for some of you," she glanced at a few well experienced Weyrlings briefly, before continuing, "Much the same as with runners, whichever side you happen to be mounting on, you want to use that foot to get up to the saddle with. I'm on Precisith's left side, so I'll be using my left foot." She turned to size up a few of the Weyrlings. "You all should be able to mount from the ground at this point in your dragonets' growth, but today we will not be getting up from the ground." She stressed her words against any challenges to mount their dragonets at a latter time. "As they get bigger, you'll actually need to climb, but the same concept applies. Now, watch carefully, please." She climbed the few feet that she need to get up next to her green's sturrups. "Now, we'll be wading into the water for today's lesson becasue your dragonets are still too young to hold your weight without strain. The water will be helping them to hold you. Once in the water, you're to place your foot in your stirrup and, preferrably in one smooth motion, pull yourself astride your dragonet's back, paying careful attention to their wings." She demonstrated such, moving fluidly and winding up astride her dragon's back, the big green hardly moving a muscle from her rider's movements. "It will come very naturally to you all very soon." She patted her dragon, then proceeded to dismounting. "Now, dismounting can be done in a number of ways depending on your experience, your size and agility, your dragon's size and build, the weather even. When dismounting, again pay careful attention to your dragonet's wings and try to make your movements smooth so that you don't throw your dragonets off balance." With those words, she smoothly and slowly dismounted like she were riding a runner, waiting until most of her weight was on Precisith's side before stepping lightly out of her stirrup and returning to her straps to help her down the few feet to the ground. "Now are there any questions before we take this to the water?" she asked, finally finished with her demonstration.

J'dan grinned a little. He had loved riding runners when he was with his family, so he was hoping it would be simple enough. Especially if they were in the water.
C'lin watched Annalyra closely. He could tell it would be easy over time, but he wasn't so sure he'd get it the first couple of times. But thankfully Seerowth seemed patient enough.
Hebertinth looked at Laliy and Shiver as the girl listened quietly. }:I can hold you, love,:{ the green said. };Then we can go flying.:{
Laliy smiled. **we will soon.**
Elliwodth was still too bust studying her straps to care about mounting. Kiyoni on the other hand was listening closely. She had grown up in a Weyr, so it shouldn't be too hard.
Optith thingyed his head to the side as K'ryn and Bandit listened. };You and I can figure it out. And help the others too.:[
K'ryn laughed. **yes, we'll figure it out.**

Niradene smiled to herself she knew exactly how to mount a runner it had been her specialty under beastcraft. She noticed that it was just a tiny bit different but she felt confident they'd be successful as they went into the water.
Sherly on the other hand had been watching carefully she had never ridden a runner and had no idea what was involved. She hoped they'd get it right.

Gunteera knew exactly what Annalyra was speaking of and kept a hand on her unusually excited dragonet while they listened, the mention of getting in the water hardly a deterrant for her.
L'ney and K'sid knew how to ride runners among the best. After all, one had to be quick with little error in their line of work. Mounting was going to be so easy!
T'raren, G'tee, and Rayra were expecting this to be easy as well, even with Eteinth and Dawnuth's sizes, but they were all weyrbred with rider parents so they were all ahead of the game.
M'kan, Tia'ar, and K'lar were looking forward to this lesson now. The water plus their dragonets plus mounting them for the first time. All was going to be fun!
After seeing no questions, Annalyra continued, "Now, we're going to do this in groups of two everyone, so that the water won't be too crowded and that there will be no accidental injuries and that you'll have one on one coaching with either myself or Keistra. Let's begin with our greens. Rayra and Kiyoni, please bring your partners into the water with us," she instructed as she herself headed for the water.
--Okay everyone, in order to wrap this up so we can start the next Lesson on time, let's go in the following pairs:
Rayra and Kiyoni Velina and Or'n Niradene and Laliy M'kan and Sherly K'sid and S'et Marna and Tia'ar C'lin and J'dan G'tee and K'lar T'raren and L'ney K'ryn and Gunteera

Rayra gave Kiyoni a smile before coaxing her timid little green into the water after her mother and Keistra. After several moments of reassurance, Dawnuth was calm enough to allow Hers to try mounting for the first time, the tiny green nearly submerged completely and her rider only waist deep. Mounting was done smoothly and gently and Rayra was only allowed to stay atop her dragonet for half the time the rest were allotted due to her size, but once Rayra's feet touched the sandy floor of the lake again, Dawnuth was affectionate and somewhat happy. She'd held Hers!
--*-- M'kan gave Sherly an encouraging grin when they were called together, then he and Visageth were off for the adventure the water was promising. Mounting next to Kesitra, everything went well, save for Visageth attempting to "wander off" with His on his back. {{Look! We're moving!}} the curious blue said merrily even though they were only to stand. He wanted to CARRY His! But before he could take more than a couple steps, he found himself a hole of sorts on the floor of the lake and went under, M'kan instinctively swimming off his dragonet before he drowned the poor creature. Visageth's head popped up with a cheery snort. {{That was fun! Can we do it again?! Please?!}} he said, getting his rider's answer rather quickly. "Let's not and say we did, Visageth." Although M'kan had enjoyed the dunking.
--*-- K'sid glanced at his friend, then proceeded with Jonnth at his side after S'et. Their chance went smoothly and without incident, Jonnth perfectly happy that he got to hold His for a few minutes and K'sid happy that he really didn't have to speak much. Although, he'd found that speaking through Jonnth had its advantages and disadvantages depending on who he needed to talk to.
--*-- Tia'ar and Mihelith headed in with Marna and her blue, Mihelith assuring His and anyone who said anything that all would be fine and all was with the patient and calm brown. His having had runner experience and himself being quite patient even when pleased or excited, so their turn went without incident.
--*-- G'tee went in ahead of K'lar since Irohidth wanted His all to himself for this and K'lar stepped up to Annalyra to mount, Zyurth distractedly nosing at the greenrider while His mounted with ease. {{Can I walk with you up there, Mine?}} the bronze asked, getting an apologetic, [[No, not yet. We're just mounting today. Another day will bring moving, I promise.]]
--*-- Irohidth grew somewhat excited once His was up and actually seemed happy for once while he held His proudly until he had to get off.
--*-- T'raren and L'ney went in when they were called, Eteinth tripping himself over the water and getting himself and His soaked before they even mounted, but as usual, he covered up his clumsiness with an innocent 'no one saw that' look about him. He held His with a bit of trouble, the slight pull to the side His was on making him stumble that way the first time, then all went well after that. Starkith proudly held His, even letting his gaze stray just a bit toward all the ladies that were paying attention to his handsome self!
--*-- Lulith daintily followed Hers into the water when it came their turn, but she still held an excited aire to her, knowing that she was going to hold Hers this day and she stood perfectly still, watching Hers closely as she mounted under Keistra's guidance. And the large gold stood proudly with Hers upon her back, unmoving, because she wasn't supposed to yet and she thought herself rather beautiful with Hers astride her. Then it all ended too quickly and the young gold reluctantly let Hers dismount.

Velina nodded at Annalyra's words and turned to her Manxith. She wasn't overly large, but she was a bit stocky in comparison to the other greens. Manxith looked up at her Own curiously. Can we go, Mine? Can i carry you now? Then I can swim around with you on my back and everything. Velina smiled and shook his head. "No, no you can't, not now," she smiled, "first this lesson with mounting in the water then maybe later you can carry me." Immediately the green pouted, mumbling to herself about not being able to carry her own and even swim...I mean, come on, it's just swimming!
Tohanath nudged her Own and crooned as he reached up and caressed her eyeridges. I can carry you later, right? I am stronger then I look... the petite green sighed contentedly. "Of course you can later...oh, I think it's our turn. Velina?" he asked and smiled when he saw the other green rider walk up beside him and His. "Ready?"
The dark skinned weyrling nodded and with and gentle pat to her Own's neck walked out with Or`n into the lake's cool water, after the first two pairs had left. Mounting the small greens was not hard though Tohanath, even with her tiny size was steady, having to stay in the relative shallows so her head was above water as the equally petite Or`n easily mounted his Own. Tohanath crooned happily as she felt her Own's weight and shifted on her feet a bit before he dismounted. Velina and Manxith had an equally successful mounting...however she did try to move.
"No...no, Manxith, no walking..." Vlina said as the green tried to wade int deeper water. But I want to swim with you!! Manxith whined. "Then you can swim later, right now," he said as she dismounted easily, "out of the water." With a deep huff the green followed her Own, every now and then looking back at the water. As they passed the next pair Lulith and Gunteera Manxith crooned. Beautiful Lulith it is so much fun to hold your Own, I feel so proud, I know you will do perfectly, rpetty Queen.

Niradene smiled at Laily as she and Cameith entered the water. She quickly mounted keeping an eye on Cameith's wings. As soon as she mounted Cameith she looked around to see how others were doing. She was very proud of their success. {{this feels weird mine so strange i like it though it feels like we are one}}
Sherly returned M'kan's grin as she walked into the water. She slowyl mounted Reedith trying to not hurt him or fall off. {{ooh look a visageth go..oh that was nasty his fell off}} he said excitedly. "Reed quit moving or i'll fall off to." she said as her blue squirmed underneath her.

Kiyoni returned Rayra's smile as she followed the other girl into the water. Elliwodth was exicted and ready to try anything. Once Kiyoni saw how Rayra had done it, she tried it. Kiyoni was surprised by the feel, but happy and so was Elliwodth.
**** J'dan and C'lin grinned at each other as they headed into the water. Seerowth and Claudith were ready to try anything. The two boys easily got on their dragonets and were reluctant to get off.
*** Laliy smiled at Niradene as Shiver went to play with Trig and Bandit in the water. She allowed Niradene to try before she tried herself. "That was exhilerating," she commented to Niradene after she had sat on Hebertenth. Even the normally moody green had settled down.
*** K'ryn and Optith followed Gunteera and Lulith. The bronze and weyrling patiently waited for Gunteera and Lulith to finish before trying themselves. "You look so natural up there, Gunteera," K'ryn commented.
}:And you look lovely, Lulith,:{ Optith added.
